DynCorp partnered with the United States Air Force in developing the Contractor Field Teams (CFT) concept. In March 1951, the first CFT team was dispatched to perform modifications on the USAF's C-47 aircraft. The field team concept is to respond at a moment's notice to the changing needs of the military.
